 | Master Stream Training With Lykens
Companies 27 & 22 (Lykens) trained together to determine pre-plans for some locations in Gratz Borough, determine how much water could be pumped using Engine 27's and Truck 22's master streams, and familarize GAFC personnel with Truck 22's compartments and equipment. Units are seen here flowing around 3,000 GPM at the Schade Pond in Lykens Township.

 | Tree On A House On Lubolds School Road
Truck 22 assisted Company 27 with removing a tree that had fallen across Lubolds School Road and landed on top of a house. The tree also pulled two CTCO poles out of the ground.

Box 27-1 was transmitted for a CO alarm at 313 East Market Street in the borough. Engine 27 responded with 3 personnel and proudly displayed the newly installed train horn.

Company 27 was requested as mutual aid on the 65-4 Box (Northumberland County, Klingerstown). The Cavalry responded with a total of 21 personnel and assisted in supression and overhaul ops.

 | Reed's Inn Bar Fire
Around 2210 hours on May 17th, 2008, Company 27 was dispatched with mutual aid for a commercial structure fire at Reed's Inn in the borough. Crews arrived on scene to find heavy smoke conditions. Engine 27's crew pushed two attack lines into the bar and contained the fire load to the bar room.

Company 27 was dispatched with mutual for the sawmill fire on Joss Lane in September 2007. Upon arrival, the building was fully involved and defensive operations were started immediately.

Engine & Tanker 27 responded to Hegins in early 2007 to a working structure fire. The GAFC crews helped in suppression and overhaul ops. The temperature was -1 when The Engine & Tanker returned.
